Welcome to Mid Wales Trees

Richard and Helen welcome you to their website.

We are a small commercial grower, with a seven acre site of which approximately one acre is set down to poly-tunnels. Currently we are producing a wide range of fruit trees (most of which are self fertile), ferns, dwarf conifers, perennials, summer bedding plants and native trees, all of which are suitable for an upland environment. Our plants are primarily grown organically by using our large pond for watering. Our Christmas tree plantation is a haven for wildlife.

We welcome visitors by appointment only, because we are a production area and not a garden centre We are happy to show you around, so give us a call. An excellent time to visit is in early to mid April when our bedding plant production is in full swing.

We sell our produce in local village halls or pub car parks - a venue list can be found at the bottom of this page. Orders can be e-mailed or phoned through to us. If delivery is required, this can be arranged.

There are many other attractions in this area, including the Elan Valley with its magnificent scenery. Rhayader, Llandrindod Wells and Builth Wells are only 15-20 minutes from us, and are worth a look. Llandrindod Wells is a spa town, and has a great deal of Victorian architecture. Richard is a paragliding pilot, and some interesting local shots will be appearing on the website.

There's plenty to do around here, so why not pay us a visit at the nursery or at a sale site.

Please note we are very busy in May and will not be able to cater for visitors at the nursery.
